Areola: (Periareolar) Incision
In this particular kind of incision, the plastic surgeon will make an incision where the dark tissue of the areola meets the breast skin. Your surgeon will place the implant under the skin and center it behind the nipple. The advantage of this kind of incision is that there may not be a visible scar.
